What Does a Swimming Pool Construction Company Mean by a Vinyl Pool?
If your swimming pool construction company is talking about a vinyl pool, and you have visions of the blow-up kind that children use, you would be forgiven. However, a vinyl pool is far from this, to find out more, read the post of JJ Shotcrete, LLC.
A vinyl pool is a type of in-ground one that has a vinyl liner, very similar to that of an above-ground one. It is often done by digging a hole in the ground and then supporting it with either a wooden or metal frame, which the liner will be attached to. These pools are cheaper than ones made from fiberglass or concrete.
This exterior pool can be any shape or size; however, the most popular one is round, rectangular, or oval in shape. A typical size is 16 feet x 32 feet. One that is round or oval could be 16 feet in diameter. The depth ranges from 3 feet to 9 feet.
Usually, a swimming pool construction company will dig a hole in the ground to install the framework and liner. Some additional digging is often required to run the plumbing connections from the motor to the swimming pool, and this may have to be done by a licensed plumber in some regions.
Once the excavation is done, sand will be added to the bottom of the hole in order to level it out. After this, the area is then stabilized by installing either treated wooden timber or metal poles around the top. Lastly, the liner will be attached to the frame, and the vinyl pool filled with water.
These pools can be sanitized using traditional pool chemicals. A homeowner may also choose to install a saltwater chlorine system. And most of the time, the vinyl liner will not be damaged by any of these products.
